Nude Pink Roses ~ Hampton Manor Wedding Flowers, Solihull

Hampton Manor is one of our regular wedding venues, we really enjoy working with couples getting married at Hampton Manor, the venue is stunning and has many areas to decorate with flowers.

Cathy and Emir were married back in October, they had a stylish navy, cream and nude pink colour scheme. Cathy and her Mum had collected cut crystal glass vases which they wanted to incorporate in the wedding in some way. We worked together with Cathy and Emir to help them achieve the look they were after.

Hampton Manor Wedding Flowers In The Reception Area

To welcome the wedding guests and bring Cathy and Emir’s colour scheme into the reception area we placed small glass vases filled with lovely Sweet Avalanche and Quicksand roses, white lisianthus and eucalyptus on the reception tables. The vases were finished off with white lace and navy ribbon to bring out the colours.

In the bar area we continued the look by placing similar vases and carafes on the fireplaces and tables. In other areas of the bar and reception Cathy had put up some old photos of family members’ weddings which was a great talking point for guests.

For the centrepieces we created a grouping on the tables, these were low and delicate. The central hurricane vase was filled with sand and a candle, this was surrounded by the glassware Cathy and her Mum had been collecting. These ranged from vases and jugs to individual wine glasses. (If you don’t have time to collect these vases yourself, we have a large range of crystal glassware here at Passion for Flowers).

The vases had a mixture of cream Avalanche roses, nude pink Quicksand roses, cream freesias and eucalyptus for scent.

The Mawson Suite has stunning fireplaces at either end of the room, the large mirrors above them reflect any fireplace decoration throughout the room. We kept the fireplaces simple with crystal glass vases running along it, each was filled with nude pink roses, cream roses and snippets of eucalyptus with a highlight of blue.

Walton Hall Wedding Flowers Green & Dusky Pink ~ Rustic Glamour

Ben and Chris were married back in August at Walton Hall a stunning wedding venue in Warwickshire. They came to us at their first consultation with hundreds of ideas all along the lines of rustic glamour / vintage. We realised we needed to incorporate hessian and lavender, wow factor centre pieces , troughs, urns and lanterns in the décor somewhere, pulling it all together with the choice of flowers.

The mix of wedding flowers used throughout the day were vintage green hydrangeas, dusky pink amnesia roses, avalanche roses, gyposphila, veronica, china grass and eucalyptus.

The Grooms

Being two grooms they wanted the button holes to be extra special. To tie in with their tweed suits and overall look of the day they both wore amnesia roses, snippets of hydrangeas, with a touch of gyp and eucalyptus with the stems wrapped in twine.

Walton Hall Wedding Flowers ~ The Ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place in The Moncrieffe room at Walton Hall, either side of the registrars table we created two giant urns raised up on wooden crates with lavish rustic arrangements of vintage green hydrangeas, dusky pink roses, grass, moss and eucalyptus. Along the table, and fireplaces  and within the alcoves were troughs filled with a similar mix of flowers and jam jars wrapped in lace and hessian. walton hall weddding ceremony

Walton Hall Wedding Flowers ~ Top Table

The wedding breakfast also took place in The Moncrieffe Room at Walton Hall. The long top table was situated in front of the stunning fireplace. For the top table wedding flowers we filled troughs with a mix of sage green and dusky pink flowers. In between the troughs were a mix of bottles and jam jars covered in lace, hessian and twine again filled with florals. Either side of the top table were the two giant urns from the ceremony. Each chair back either had a hessian sash or piece of lavender, the napkins were all tied with hessian to complete the rustic look.

On the round guest tables we used a mix of table centres to create interest throughout the room. Some tables had glamorous silver candelabra with a large arrangement of amnesia roses, avalanche roses gypsophila and eucalyptus, these looked stunning once the chunky church candles were lit.

White Wedding Flowers ~ English David Austin Roses & Hydrangeas At Wroxall Abbey

Summer Wedding At Wroxall Abbey

Helena and Craig had a gorgeous Summer wedding in August at Wroxall Abbey, one of our regular wedding venues. Although we do a number of weddings each year at Wroxall Abbey each one is different and we love working with our brides and grooms to find the perfect look for them. Helena and Craig were looking for mainly white wedding flowers with a touch of vintage as well as elegance.

The Wedding Bouquets

Helena’s bridal bouquet was a large creamy white mix of wonderfully scented David Austin roses, freesias with snippets of gypsophila tied with ivory satin ribbon and pearls, perfect for a Summer wedding. Her five bridesmaids had a blousy bouquet of white hydrangeas each, again tied with ivory satin ribbon and pearls. The two young flower girls held a single cream rose to walk down the aisle.

White wedding flowers in the church

Wroxall Abbey has it’s own small chapel on site, Wren’s Cathedral. The lych gate leading up to the entrance of the chapel was decorated with grey willow hearts and a touch of gypsophila. This makes a lovely photo when the bride and groom leave the church. Inside the church we decorated the large stone window sills and fonts with church candles which lit up the church with romantic candle light.

White wedding flowers in the mansion house

On each of the guest tables we decorated our cream birdcages with hanging lovebirds, white freesias, roses and lisianthus and added country heart tea lights on the table On the top table we created a full length flower garland which ran the entire length of the top table. This was a mix of eucalyptus and stunning white hydrangea with touches of gypsophila. Behind the garland were hurricane vases with candles inside running the length of the table.

To tie into her birdcage table centre Helena chose our birdcage table plan to show the guests to their seats. After the wedding breakfast the guests moved into the marquee at Wroxall. The staff are usually happy to move the decorations through to the marquee for the evening, to create the entrance to the marquee Helena hired some of our bay trees.

Pale Pink Nude Roses ~ An Elegant Wedding At Hampton Manor

Wedding Flowers At Hampton Manor

Hampton Manor in Solihull is one of our regular venues, being only 10 minutes from where we are based we work there many times each year. Although we work there a lot, most of our weddings are completely different to one another and we love working with our brides and grooms to style their flowers just for them.

Elizabeth and Trevor loved the palest pink, almost nude colour roses for their wedding flowers. To tie in to the venue they went for an elegant but simple style for their wedding flowers. All the tables had a silver candelabra with a mix of nude toned roses in the arrangement.

Rustic Chic ~ Wedding Flowers At Barnsley House, The Cotswold’s

Wedding Flowers At Barnsley House

Vicky and Lee were married back in June at the gorgeous Cotswold venue, Barnsley House. Lee and Vicky had exclusive use of this intimate venue for their friends and family to enjoy. The ceremony was held outside in the beautiful gardens followed by the wedding breakfast in the Potager Restaurant. After meeting with Vicky at Barnsley House to discuss her flowers we opted for a rustic chic style to tie in with the venue.

The weather stayed dry and Vicky and Lee were lucky enough to have their ceremony in the beautiful gardens at Barnsley House. Jam jars filled with a summer mix of roses, veronica and dahlias lined the aisle. There is a stunning tree in the garden which we hung hundreds of assorted apothecary bottles from, each with a single bloom in. This made a lovely backdrop and doubled up as their wishing tree.

Rustic Chic Wedding Table Settings

The long guest tables were dressed with a rustic mix of glass bottles and jam jars. The jam jars were finished off with twine and raffia filled with herbs, roses, dahlias and peonies. We also bought in the jam jars from the pew ends which looked stunning on window sills around the venue.

Alrewas Hayes Wedding Flowers {Sweet Avalanche & Avalanche Roses}

Alrewas Hayes Wedding Flowers

This gorgeous wedding was back in June this year. We worked together with Julie, the bride, to style a stunning sophisticated look for her Alrewas Hayes wedding flowers. In the grade 2 listed Queen Anne residence, Julie was after very soft pink and cream florals, we used Sweet Avalanche and Avalanche roses here.

Her bridal bouquet was a mix of Sweet Avalanche and Avalanche roses, with snippets of gyp. Captured below by Greswolde Photography.

Kilworth House Wedding {Elegant Wedding Flowers}

Kilworth House Wedding

Back in April we worked on a stunning Kilworth House wedding. The tone of the day was soft romantic and elegant which we reflected in our choice of flowers. Having met with Jennie at Kilworth House earlier in the year, we decided soft pink and pastel toned roses would be perfect in the orangery with the gorgeous glass ceiling and exposed brick work.

elegant wedding flowers church

The ceremony took place in an idyllic country church near to Kilworth House, we used glass footed bowls filled with pearls in the base and soft pink pastel roses in the arrangement. With a highlight of eucalyptus and astrantia for texture.

To continue the elegant look in the country church one of our 5′ silver candelabra was positioned at the front. Again the elegant pastel pink roses and soft peach roses were used mixed with grey green eucalyptus.
elegant wedding flowers candelabra For the button holes a soft peach rose and astrantia gave an elegant look. The tradition is that the groom should wear a rose that could have been picked from the bride’s bouquet, so these roses were included in Jennie’s bouquet too. elegant rose button hole For the bride we created an elegant hand tied bouquet. Using soft pastel pink roses, soft peach roses, astrantia and gyp tied with lace. This is one of our signature styles here at Passion for Flowers… simple and elegant.

For the long top table we used a mix of the soft pink roses and soft peach toned roses, with elegant pearls draped through the arrangement. Either side of this we had glass bottles with single stem roses and tea lights along the tables.
