A couple of weeks ago we were invited by Mythe Barn to decorate their wedding venue for the menu tasting evening. Mythe Barn is a lovely barn wedding venue based near Birmingham. Leicester and Coventry.
We decorated the Oak Barn as a ceremony room and The Grain Store as we would a wedding breakfast. This gave couples a chance to see the venue decorated up for a wedding.
Here at Passion for Flowers we regularly provide wedding flowers for Mythe Barn couples, we choose to create a different table centre on each table to give us a chance to show what could be done with the venue.

Mythe Barn Wedding Flowers ~ Menu Tasting Event
Wedding Flowers At Mythe Barn – The Oat Barn
For the ceremony room we kept it simple yet in keeping with the rustic barn setting. With a run of hurricane vases either side of the aisle, within the hurricane vases were pillar candles placed in a bed of moss. On the ceremony table we created a display of white hydrangeas and white lisianthus on a bed of moss with the hurricane vase in the centre. Mythe Barn have a set of bay trees and the beams are covered in hops – a new addition to the venue.
Wedding Flowers At Mythe Barn – The Grain Store
For the guest tables we created a variety of centrepieces that would appeal to different wedding styles and themes we used a similar mix of flowers throughout to keep the overall look to soft muted pinks and whites .
Our tables included a grouping of crystal glassware on a mirrored cake stand with quicksand roses.
A crystal stack on books with mercury silver candle sticks. We used sweet avalanche roses and amni for this table setting.
1m high silver candelabra with church candles. Here we used a sweet avalanche roses and eucalyptus.
Our tall tower vase was filled with spring blossom, hanging from the blossom were glass balls each with a sweet avalanche rose head inside.
Here our footed bowl was filled with pearls in the base and an arrangement of white hydrangeas, sweet avalanche roses, lisianthus and snippets of eucalyptus.
A grouping of mercury silver glassware. Including silver bottles, vases, candlesticks and bud vases, the quicksand roses look stunning with mercury silver.
In the entrance ares at Mythe Barn we placed groupings of jars and bottles on the poseur tables, each were filled with spring flowers, tulips, broom, blossom, freesias and grass.
