A pink and purple summer wedding at Mythe Barn with a rustic bouquet. Here we are looking at Anna’s wedding bouquet. She was after a rustic / country style look for her wedding tying in with her pink and purple colour scheme.
The bouquet was a mix of soft pink Sweet Avalanche roses, purple lisianthus, white delphiniums, with snippets of eucalyptus and gypsophila, handtied in a loose bunch.
Rustic Hessian Bouquet Wrap
We wrapped the bouquet stems in rustic hessian material to finish off the rustic look Anna was after, tying in the purple with an overlay of purple ribbon.
If you are looking for a just picked country style blue purple and lilac bridal bouquet for your wedding this is it. This gorgeous bridal bouquet was created for our Passion for Flowers bride Georgina in October. The bride wanted a bridal bouquet with country flowers for her just picked blue purple and lilac wedding.
The bridal bouquet had hydrangeas, lilac and pink roses, astrantia, wax flower, purple limonium and herbs from the garden to finish. The wine cooler was a family favourite.
Don’t you just love the mixed bridesmaids bouquets. They looked perfect with their prom style dresses. The bride and bridesmaids squealed with delight when the bridal flowers were delivered!
At Passion for Flowers we love working with brides who have a clear idea of the colours they love.Claire was no exception and was inspired by wedding flowers in lilac, cream and purples to create a gorgeous summer look. Her groom Richard and the male members of the bridal party wore kilts so we added a hint of heather and used thistles for the button holes. We loved creating her summer bouquet of lilac and cream wedding flowers captured by Rob and Sarah Gillespie.
The bridal bouquet was a delicate mix of summer blooms in creams and lilacs to create a delicate summer mixed bridal bouquet perfect with Claire’s gorgeous chiffon Sassi Holford dress.
The bridesmaids bouquets had deeper tones of purple and lilac to contrast with their bridesmaids dresses. The mix of flowers was all part of the palette of soft lilac and purple colours we had agreed for the wedding day.
The corsages were a delicate mix of lisianthus and freesia continuing the lilac and purple wedding colours. The wedding reception was at one of our favourite Warwickshire venues, Mallory Court. The room looked stunning with tall silver candelabra with wonderful wedding flowers in creams and lilacs. At Passion for Flowers we love the soft backdrop for a romantic wedding. An elegant top table arrangement with glass hurricane vases and church candles was created with a soft garland wrapped in voile. The wedding flowers were lilac and cream roses, gypsophilia and lisianthus. For brides wanting a stunning effect place a candelabra at either end of the top table. Wow!
At Passion for Flowers we love the work of wedding photographers Rob and Sarah Gillespie – they captured our bride and groom and their lilac and cream summer wedding perfectly. Thank you xx
