Vintage Elegance ~ Ettington Park Wedding Flowers

We love Ettington Park weddings and were delighted when we were approached by Debbie and Michael who were planning their elegant wedding with a touch of vintage at Ettington Park. We exchanged and shared photos and ideas to get just the look Debbie was after as they are living in the US. I loved the fact that Debbie also sent me images of the two of them so I had a great feel for the couple themselves which helped with designing their Ettington Park wedding flowers. Just as well as Debbie and Michael only arrived a couple of days before their wedding.

The bridal bouquet was an elegant hand tied mix of dusky pink roses, white peonies and astrantia tied with ivory ribbon.

Michael’s elegant dusky pink vintage rose button hole matched the bouquet perfectly. I love the ribbon on the stem to tie in with the bouquet and just knew this would suit Michael.

The intimate wedding ceremony took place in the chapel at Ettington Park such a beautiful place to tie the knot. Decorations and wedding flowers for Ettington Park should be elegant and simple, we loved creating the tall vase arrangements for the chapel.Simple foliage and tulle created the elegant pew ends just enough for this romantic setting.

The wedding breakfast was taking place in The Library and Debbie wanted an elegant look in keeping with the style of Ettington Park. We agreed on a vintage elegance design with crystal glass and vintage books. The centre pieces were kept low as the guests were seated on one large table and so we didn’t want to obstruct their views. Crystal cake plates with blousy arrangements with crystal jugs, decanters, vases and tea lights completed the look. The guests were delighted to take home the arrangements. Using old books on the table tied the table scape into the Library and made everyone feel at home.

We love working with our couples on creating a setting which represents them as a couple and is totally in keeping with the style and choice of venue.

Dusky Pink Roses & Wooden Swings ~ Relaxed Wedding Flowers at Blakelands Country House

Daniela and Paul were married in April this year at Wombourne village church with the reception at Blakelands Country House in Staffordshire. They were looking for a relaxed approach to their wedding flowers to reflect their day. The overall look they were trying to achieve was vintage inspired with a touch of glamour. Walton Hall Wedding Flowers Green & Dusky Pink ~ Rustic Glamour

Ben and Chris were married back in August at Walton Hall a stunning wedding venue in Warwickshire. They came to us at their first consultation with hundreds of ideas all along the lines of rustic glamour / vintage. We realised we needed to incorporate hessian and lavender, wow factor centre pieces , troughs, urns and lanterns in the décor somewhere, pulling it all together with the choice of flowers.

The mix of wedding flowers used throughout the day were vintage green hydrangeas, dusky pink amnesia roses, avalanche roses, gyposphila, veronica, china grass and eucalyptus.
