Wedding ceremonies at Nuthurst take place in the stable barn, the wooden beams and white walls make it a lovely setting.
Wedding Flowers At Nuthurst Grange ~ Ceremony
To create an elegant look for the ceremony we used our stunning silver 1m tall candelabra with a floral arrangement of soft ruscus, Akito roses, lisianthus, snippets of dreamy gypsophila and palest lemon freesia. We placed the candelabra on each end of the registrars table.
Hampton Manor in Solihull is one of our regular venues, being only 10 minutes from where we are based we work there many times each year. Although we work there a lot, most of our weddings are completely different to one another and we love working with our brides and grooms to style their flowers just for them.
Elizabeth and Trevor loved the palest pink, almost nude colour roses for their wedding flowers. To tie in to the venue they went for an elegant but simple style for their wedding flowers. All the tables had a silver candelabra with a mix of nude toned roses in the arrangement.
Pale & Interesting ~ Pale Pink Nude Roses
The large mirrors at either end of the Mawson Room reflect the candelabra and candle light beautifully, each table had mocha rose petals scattered over it and napkins and menus were tied with dusky pink toned ribbon.
For the wedding ceremony at Hampton Manor we continued the elegant style using our 5′ silver candelabra with a similar mix of pale nude / dusky pink roses and again in the ceremony table arrangement. They chose a simple elegant cake on a silver cake stand which we decorated with nude roses and rose petals.
Back in April we worked on a stunning Kilworth House wedding. The tone of the day was soft romantic and elegant which we reflected in our choice of flowers. Having met with Jennie at Kilworth House earlier in the year, we decided soft pink and pastel toned roses would be perfect in the orangery with the gorgeous glass ceiling and exposed brick work.
The ceremony took place in an idyllic country church near to Kilworth House, we used glass footed bowls filled with pearls in the base and soft pink pastel roses in the arrangement. With a highlight of eucalyptus and astrantia for texture.
To continue the elegant look in the country church one of our 5′ silver candelabra was positioned at the front. Again the elegant pastel pink roses and soft peach roses were used mixed with grey green eucalyptus.
For the button holes a soft peach rose and astrantia gave an elegant look. The tradition is that the groom should wear a rose that could have been picked from the bride’s bouquet, so these roses were included in Jennie’s bouquet too.For the bride we created an elegant hand tied bouquet. Using soft pastel pink roses, soft peach roses, astrantia and gyp tied with lace. This is one of our signature styles here at Passion for Flowers… simple and elegant.
On to Kilworth House! At Passion for Flowers we love working a unique venues and Kilworth House wedding’s certainly have a unique look to them. The reception took place in the Orangery a beautiful room with rural views and natural light flooding in.
To keep an elegant wedding look in the orangery we used a mix of table centres. Half the tables had our silver candelabra with full arrangements of roses, astrantia and eucalyptus. For the other guest tables we used our stylish silver and glass footed bowls, with pearls in the base and a similar mix of flowers, a group of vintage tea light holders on these tables would give these tables a soft romantic look as the evening drew in.
For the long top table we used a mix of the soft pink roses and soft peach toned roses, with elegant pearls draped through the arrangement. Either side of this we had glass bottles with single stem roses and tea lights along the tables.
