Wedding Flowers At Barnsley House
Vicky and Lee were married back in June at the gorgeous Cotswold venue, Barnsley House. Lee and Vicky had exclusive use of this intimate venue for their friends and family to enjoy. The ceremony was held outside in the beautiful gardens followed by the wedding breakfast in the Potager Restaurant. After meeting with Vicky at Barnsley House to discuss her flowers we opted for a rustic chic style to tie in with the venue.

Bouquets and Button Holes
For Vicky’s rustic bouquet we used a mix of lisianthus, veronica, Illusion roses and Wizard of Oz Dahlias all tied together with twine. The two flower girls had a smaller version of the bridal bouquet with a key tied around the handle.
The button holes and corsages were also finished off with twine, the men had smaller spray roses and veronica while the ladies wore large Sweet Avalanche roses.
The Ceremony Flowers ~ Keeping It Simple With Pew Ends & Hanging Bottles
The weather stayed dry and Vicky and Lee were lucky enough to have their ceremony in the beautiful gardens at Barnsley House. Jam jars filled with a summer mix of roses, veronica and dahlias lined the aisle. There is a stunning tree in the garden which we hung hundreds of assorted apothecary bottles from, each with a single bloom in. This made a lovely backdrop and doubled up as their wishing tree.
Rustic Chic Wedding Table Settings
The long guest tables were dressed with a rustic mix of glass bottles and jam jars. The jam jars were finished off with twine and raffia filled with herbs, roses, dahlias and peonies. We also bought in the jam jars from the pew ends which looked stunning on window sills around the venue.
Don’t forget here at Passion for Flowers we have a large collection of jars, bottles, tea light holders etc available for hire if we do your wedding flowers, alternatively many of these items are available to buy from our sister company The Wedding of my Dreams.
