Mythe Barn Wedding Flowers ~ Hydrangeas, Roses & Wooden Swings

Mythe Barn is one of our favourite barn venues and when Sarah and Farren asked us to do their wedding flowers we knew it was just the sort of wedding we would love to work on.

Our bride wanted the most romantic of bouquets to be the perfect match to her wedding gown. A mix of garden O Hara roses, scented freesias and softest hydrangea blooms creating the look.

The bridesmaids bouquets were stunning hand tied bouquets of peach David Austin roses, soft blush bombastic roses with hints of gypsophila and daisies for a summery look.

For the men’s button holes we used peach David Austin (Juliet Roses) with a touch of daisy to tie in with the bridesmaids and for Farren the groom, we made a button hole using a white O Hara garden rose and gypsophila to tie in with his bride.

Our favourite part of this wedding, and one of Sarah’s we know, was this beautiful wooden swing, it had been hand made with love by Sarah’s Dad. The swing looked stunning hanging at Mythe Barn and we decorated the sides with delicate ivy, pearls and roses. This was a first for Mythe Barn and was a great photo spot.

Featured on Love my Dress At Passion for Flowers we are very excited to be featured on Love My Dress this afternoon. A couple of months ago we were asked by Aston & Ainsworth Photography if we would help them out on a vintage shoot at Severn Valley Railway. Of course we said yes, we loved the concept. Gorgeous vintage dresses, make-up by Award Winning Chloe Mc Call and vintage styling. Read the full post over on Love my Dress.

We designed two signature rose bouquets; a peach rose bouquet with touches of wax flower tied loosely with peach satin ribbon as well as a soft pink rose bouquet with snippets of astrantia and a delicate lace wrap.SVR 043.jpg
