White Hydrangea Wedding Flowers At Alveston Pastures Farm

One of our beautiful white weddings from earlier this year. Lucy and Alex were married on a lovely summer’s day in June. They were after a white sophisticated look for their wedding.

To achieve this look we chose to use only white hydrangeas throughout the whole wedding, with snippets of gyp and eucalyptus to add texture. Lucy and her bridesmaids had fluffy white hydrangea bouquets with a touch of gyp tied with ivory satin ribbon. The boys had gyp and eucalyptus button holes.

The reception was held at Alveston Pastures Farm, a lovely farm just south of Stratford Upon Avon. Lucy and Alex had chosen to name each table after a different Champagne house and the name place cards were placed in corks. Working with Lucy we chose footed vases filled with pearls as the table centres these has a gorgeous bunch of white hydrangeas to create a low domed arrangement. Bunting was strung from the wooden beams and large silver urns were placed in the fire place and on the bar.

Peaches And Cream Wedding Flowers At Grafton Manor

Peaches and Cream wedding flowers

Dee was after stylish peaches and cream wedding flowers for her wedding at Grafton Manor. She wanted an afternoon party feel with a touch of English country garden. We decided on a mix of  beautiful vintage tea cups filled with dusky pink and peach roses, white lisianthus and gyp around the base of our tall silver candelabra for the tables. The candelabra arrangements had a mix of peach Talea roses and white hydrangeas with gyp and eucalyptus. This gave height to fill the tall marquee but also kept interest at the lower height. For the top table at Grafton Manor we used our vintage cake stands and tea cups filled with beautiful blooms spaced out along the table. At Passion for Flowers we have a range of vintage china available to hire for your florals, or if you prefer we can use china you have collected yourselves.tea party wedding flowers Grafton ManorDee had created a lovely table plan using photo frames, we dotted a few single stem roses in bottles to add some floral interest and give a beautiful scent to the table.pretty photo frame table plan

Congratulation to Sarah and Neil who were married earlier this Summer, the wedding reception was held at Peels Restaurant, Hampton Manor. Hampton Manor is one of our regular wedding venues, here at Passion for Flowers we find ourselves working there a number of times a year but each wedding couldn’t be more different. Sarah and Neil used Peels Restaurant for their wedding reception, the restaurant has a bright vibrant feel to it. The hot pink chairs and stunning chandelier make it a beautiful choice for a wedding reception. The gardens at Hampton Manor offer a gorgeous setting for your drinks reception, we decorated the terrace with hot pink roses in shepherds crooks.hampton manor wedding flowerswhite hydrangea bouquetpink wedding flower

For the bridal bouquet we worked with Sarah to create a soft blousy white bouquet to complement her stunning Jenny Packham dress. We achieved a vintage glamour feel with the florals by using a mix of white hydrangeas, David Austin roses, scented freesias (her Grandma’s favourite) and snippets of gypsophilia tied with ivory satin ribbon. The bridesmaid bouquets had fluffy white hydrangeas with frilly Illusion roses.white hydrangea bouquet

We created Sarah and Neil’s initials from moss, these were laid outside Hampton Manor.moss lettersPeels restaurant looked stunning, the tables were named after the bride and grooms favourite bands. To achieve the wow factor when guests entered the room the tables were a riot of colour. The centre pieces had a stunning arrangement on a Moroccan silver cake stand, the lavish floral arrangement included hot pink and blush roses, trailing amaranthus and fluffy hydrangeas. Vibrant votives, Moroccan tea lights, ribbon and badges on the napkins in aqua and pink completed the look.

Sarah provided us with a lovely personalised container for the top table, we filled this with a mix of pink roses, including Sweet Avalanche, Illusion and snippets of astrantia, placed in a bell jar.

We suggested Sarah put her bouquet in a vase on her dessert table so all the guests could get a closer look. Sarah dried her bouquet which now takes pride of place in the top table container as a permanent reminder of her wedding day.pink wedding flowers

Extra details included badges on everyone’s place setting, an amazing cake table by the super talented Tracy from Cotton and Crumbs and a CD favour for wedding guests with songs on from the wedding day. Passion for Flowers Worked With Rock My Wedding ~ Stepford Wives Shoot

Back in April Passion for Flowers worked with the RMW team on an exciting bridal shoot, with real brides as the models and a Stepford Wives theme we worked closely with Charlotte and the RMW team to create the florals to tie in with the rest of the styling.

Part one of the shoot is up on Rock My Wedding today, make sure you check back for part two and a three later this week. Below are a few of our favourite images but you’ll have to pop over to RWM to read the full story.
