Shona and Tom were married in July this year at Wroxall Abbey, one of our local wedding venues. Being a summer wedding Shona was after a soft pastel colour scheme for her wedding flowers. We chose soft pinks, nude roses and highlights of lemon yellow.
Bridal bouquet ~ Soft Pink, Lemon & Nude Roses
Shona’s bridal bouquet was a mix of roses with hints of crystal beading threaded through her bouquet to tie in with her gorgeous Ian Stuart dress. We used a mix of lemon roses, nude roses and sweet avalanche roses. The bouquet was wrapped in satin ribbon all the way to the bottom of the stems. Lovely to see some photos of us delivering up the flowers to the brides room. For the evening we made Shona a wrist corsage to wear with a similar mix of roses.

The boys wore matching cream roses as button holes.
Church Flowers
Wroxall Abbey has an on site chapel, Wren’s Cathedral, we decorated the lichgate with a floral arch using a mix of roses, eucalyptus and gyp. Mini windmills were set up either side of the path as guests walked into the chapel. Pew ends were a natural hand tied bunch of roses, gyp and eucalyptus. To create a romantic backdrop the screen was decorated with a eucalyptus and gypsophila arch to lighten the dark wood.

Marquee Wedding
The reception was held in the marquee at Wroxall Abbey, Shona and Tom had chosen an ice cream theme. The table plan was made from spoons in ice cream sundae glasses, each glass represented a different table and the spoons all had guests names on them – fab idea!
The table centres were giant cup cakes surrounded by a ring of gypsophila and candles, all home made. Love the cute easels for the place settings.
To continue the ice cream theme, they had created an ice cream parlour at one end of the marquee. A yellow and white striped piece of material created the backdrop. Guests could add their choice of toppings to their ice cream, a mix of walnuts, coloured sprinkles and chocolate flakes finished off with cream!

Top table of mercury silver hurricane vases, cake stands candlesticks and tea lights with lisianthus. Great with a hessian runner for a rustic styled look for a marquee wedding. this would also look great if you are having long guest tables at your marquee wedding.

Pure white lisianthus look gorgeous for wedding flowers and wedding table decorations.
