Thank you all for voting for us in the 2015 Wedding Industry Awards, we are thrilled to hear that Passion for Flowers has been short-listed as a finalist in the Wedding Florist category for the West Midlands. We will be going to the awards ceremony next month to hear how we do.
We will keep you updated, last year we were overwhelmed to have been awarded the title of the Best Florist in the West Midlands!
Here at Passion for Flowers, we love seeing our work published in magazines. Nicola and Mark were married in the most amazing village church in Whitewell, followed by their reception at Iscoyd Park just around the corner. Their rustic summer wedding featured peach Juliette David Austin roses, delicate daisies with rustic touches from the wooden crates.
When thinking about your choice of flowers, always include blooms with interesting texture. From blowsy peonies to more hardy seed pods, chic succulents to feathery foliage and herbs, there’s nothing better than a bouquet rich with texture.
In addition, if you’re thinking of having props at your wedding – be it a vintage suitcase to collect cards, wooden crates to fill with overflowing blooms or an eclectic mix of bottles and vases, it’s worth checking with your florist if they have any of these items to hire. Many florists spend time scouring reclamation yards and markets for these props – so ask before you go hunting!
Here at Passion for Flowers we were thrilled to see Ben and Briony’s wedding recently featured on Rock My Wedding Blog. Ben and Briony had a circus themed wedding, there were giant deck chairs, circus signs, outdoor games and loads of other fun elements. We’ve known Ben a long while and loved doing the flowers for his wedding.
