A wedding fair is an opportunity to meet newly engaged couples, existing clients and to show our skills at decorating a venue. We loved the opportunity to decorate the Palladian style chapel at Compton Verney as well as decorating in the Adam Hall and Art Gallery.
The Chapel – Pampas Grass Aisle Decoration, Deconstructed Arch
The Chapel was restored lovingly and is now a most beautiful space for a ceremony. We designed a deconstructed arch to frame the ceremony with a naturally inspired mix of foliage, pampas grass, quicksand roses and delicate nigella. The aisle decoration flowed along the aisle with a relaxed walkway of foliage, amaranthus, quicksand roses and pampas grass.
Tall White & Green Centrepiece, White Floral Stand
The elegant Adam Hall with its tall ceiling benefits from tall centrepieces. For a classic, elegant look we designed the arrangements with masses of green foliage and wedding favourites scented garden roses, spray roses, ammi and lisianthus. For a spring look we added alliums and blossom. The white floral stand is the perfect height to allow guests to see each other across the table and is also available in gold, and copper to work with your wedding colours. Small white vases with single stems add interest at table height.
Moongate Backdrop & Bud Vase Window Display
The moongate was decorated with a delicate eucalyptus foliage for a light display keeping the look fresh and inviting. Buds vases placed along the table with roses, amaranthus and dried delphiniums continued the look. The moongate back drop is perfect for a ceremony or behind a top table, sweetheart table or to frame the cake table.
We were delighted to style the enchanting chapel at Compton Verney which is now available for wedding ceremonies. The white interior needs a natural look and so we choose an entrance welcome of a mix of aged lanterns and simple decoration inside the chapel. We lined the aisle with a mix of bronze gold bottles with the softest of grasses. The main ceremony arrangements were natural and organic in style with a mix of white and green in bronze urns sat on pedestal bases.
CENTREPIECES AT COMPTON VERNEY
The elegant Adams Hall at Compton Verney is a perfect setting for your wedding breakfast. We favour a mix of high and low table designs adding interest around the room.
LOW ARRANGEMENT IN BRONZE URN
For a low arrangement we choose a natural design in a footed bronze urn, styled with simple candlesticks and bronze ribbed tea lights. The flowers in white and green kept the look fresh and easy on the eye.
TALL FLORAL DISPLAY ON BRONZE STAND
Tall bronze stands with an organic styled arrangement in whites, creams and greens created a perfect tall floral display. Adding a touch of bronze to the Adams Hall adds a depth of colour and simple elegance to the table arrangements.

Rachel and Nick were married at Compton Verney in September. We met when Rachel was recommended to us by the award winning venue team. Rachel came to us with an idea of colours and an inspiration image and left the rest to us. As we love creating flowers at Compton Verney and decorating this stunning venue they were in safe hands.
Chris Barber has captured their day perfectly for us to share with you.

A soft mix of pinks, peaches and a hint of deeper tones were used in the hydrangea and rose bouquets.
DUSKY PINK ROSE BUTTON HOLES FOR THE GROOMSMEN
Nick and the groomsmen sported dusky pink, lavender and rosemary button holes.
CEREMONY FLOWERS AT COMPTON VERNEY – ROSES AND URNS

GLASS FOOTED VASE CENTREPIECES AT COMPTON VERNEY
Glass footed vases had just been added to our collection of vases and vessels and made an elegant centrepiece for this wedding.
WEDDING CAKE FLOWERS – ROSES, BERRIES AND EUCALYPTUS
Just before we left the venue we added the flowers and decoration to the wedding cake in keeping with the look and feel of the day.
Thank you Rachel and Nick for your lovely comment ‘The flowers looked so beautiful and were so much more than we could have ever imagined’
Charlotte and Chris chose the elegant setting of the Adams Hall at Compton Verney for their wedding. It is always a pleasure to work with the team at Compton Verney, fellow award winners in The Wedding Industry Awards.
Working with the seasons and time of year is always key to a successul look for the day and this spring wedding was a delight to design.
BRIDAL BOUQUET – WHITE AND BLUE SPRING FLOWERS
The bridal bouquet was a scented white and blue mix of spring flowers including the first white peonies of the season, ranunculus and anenomes. Charlotte looked so elegant in her Jesus Peiro dress, the simple lines and elegant bow suited her so perfectly.
The Adams Hall is perfectly elegant and with this look we simply added spring scented paperwhites in tall glass vases sat on wooden tree slices to highlight the aisle. Large urns of spring blooms were set up either side of the ceremony table and gave an elegant spring look to the wedding ceremony.
WHITE AND BLUE SPRING BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS
We added a highlight of blue veronica and soft anenomes to the bridesmaids bouquets to set off their elegant navy blue dresses.
I always love our creative couples and this wedding had many beautiful details from the map table plan, and adorable cheese cake and delightful Easter touches.
