Charlie and Jamie’s wedding this Summer at Hampton Manor was a delight to work on. Here are a few photos from their gorgeous wedding day. These are just a quick sneak peek – more to follow soon hopefully.
CREAM & GREEN BOUQUETS FOR THE BRIDE AND HER BRIDESMAIDS
CANDELABRA WEDDING CENTREPIECES – HAMPTON MANOR
WEDDING CAKE TABLE FLOWERS – WE PROVIDED VASES FOR THE BOUQUETS TO SIT IN ON THE CAKE TABLE
I was delighted to be chosen as the florist for Victoria and Ben’s mid-summer wedding at our local church in Hampton in Arden followed by a reception at the elegant Hampton Manor. Victoria’s background in interior design meant she had clear views about the look for her wedding and we helped her create a wonderul day filled with an abundance of natural looking flowers in creams, soft blush and peach. She came well prepared to our consultation with plenty of images and her pretty Save The Date as inspiration.
PEACH AND CREAM WEDDING FLOWERS – THE BOUQUETS
The hand tied bouquets were a soft mixture of peach, cream and blush with highlights of grey eucalyptus. The bouquets were presented in elegant glass vases as a gift for the bridesmaids. I just love the trailing ribbons and this image of the bouquets caught as the girls were getting ready at Hampton Manor.
WEDDING CEREMONY AT HAMPTON IN ARDEN CHURCH
Hampton in Arden Church is a village church with a gate leading back into the grounds of Hampton Manor. The lichgate is the perfect place for photographs and is perfectly set off with an asymetrical garland of flowers.
AISLE DECORATIONS – LANTERNS & PEW ENDS
Pew ends of blousy hydrangeas and elegant silver lanterns framed the aisle. I just love the images captured in church, the page boy and flower girl look adorable and the cathedral veil is so soft and dreamy. Duncan always has his congregation in his hands and is such a wonderful vicar, our couples tell us he holds his get togethers with them in the local pub.
TABLE CENTREPIECES IN ELIZABETH’S COURT – CANDELABRA & FOOTED BOWLS
The elegant setting of Elizabeth’s Court at Hampton Manor was beautifully set out with a mix of high and low centrepieces. The tall silver candelabra had posy vases, candelsticks and large votives in mercury silver set out around the base to create a timesless look to the tables. The silver footed bowls also had a lush arrangement with posy vases filled with scented roses, elegant candlesticks and votives to surround. Victoria had created some lovely personal touches with shots as the favours, fun gifts for the children and so much attention to detail.
TOP TABLE FLOWERS
This elegant top table is one of our favourites with tall candelabra with free form flowers to frame the table and a lush centrepiece with trailing ivy along the table,a mix of mercury silver posy vases, elegant candlesticks set out along the table.
MIRROR TABLE PLAN
The mirror table plan continued the elegant look for the wedding.
WEDDING CAKE FLOWERS
The flowers really are the icing on the cake and we were thrilled to decorate this wedding cake with an abundant mix of roses and hydrangea.
With love and very many congratulations to Victoria and Ben, thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous photos with us. xx
Emma and Andy tied the knot at Deer Park Hall, an amazing venue set in rural Worcestershire, just outside of Pershore. I love being back in that neck of the woods as I was at college in Pershore. Deer Park Hall is the best setting for a relaxed country style wedding and back in April we were all blessed with a day of sunshine.
BLUSH PINK BUTTON HOLES
Andy and the boys wore blush pink button holes for just the right twist of relaxed country feel to their day.
PINK, IVORY AND PURPLE BRIDAL BOUQUET – RELAXED FREE FORM STYLE
For Emma I designed a relaxed free form style bouquet with the first of the seasons fluffy peonies. The pink, ivory and purple tones were picked up with roses, lisianthus and touches of lavender.
DEER PARK HALL WEDDING CEREMONY – GLASS CANDLE HOLDERS & FLOWERS
At Deer Park Hall the wedding ceremony was set with glass candle holders down the aisle, a personalised runner and a full display of flowers for the ceremony table.
PRETTY PETAL CONFETTI
Pretty petal confetti in country baskets was waiting for guests at the end of the service.
DEER PARK HALL – WEDDING RECEPTION FLOWERS
The wedding reception flowers continued the relaxed country look with moss filled vases and a mix of country blooms.
Since our early days at Passion for Flowers we have enjoyed creating Wroxall Abbey wedding flowers in the Mansion House, marquee and Wren’s Cathedral. Sam and Mike asked us to help them create a perfect look for their vintage glamour wedding at Wroxall Abbey.
WROXALL ABBEY WEDDING FLOWERS – DUSKY PINK ROSE BOUQUETS
Sam was the most beautiful relaxed bride and was very happy to leave everything in our hands. She had a lovely vision for the day and was open to all the ideas and extra touches we presented and asked for our advice on lots of the aspects of her wedding. At one point I fondly recall her saying ‘but you are the wedding’. As a couple they were a joy to work with and we loved our times liaising and chatting over details.
The dusky pink rose bouquets were soft and spring like finished with lace to perfectly suit the style of the soft mint green bridesmaids’ dresses. Touches of variegated pittosporum picked up the pastel tone of the fabric. Sam’s rose bouquet finished her look for the day with lace trimmed cathedral veil and wonderful wedding dress.
Mike and the boys wore dusky pink rose button holes with a touch of pittosporum.
WROXALL ABBEY WEDDING FLOWERS – CHURCH FLOWERS
Wroxall Abbey has a wonderful church just a short walk from the Mansion House and church flowers always include decoration of the wooden screen. Roses were threaded through the soft foliage garland to create a romantic backdrop for the service.
Sam and Mike wanted us to create a vintage glamour look to their centrepieces and we agreed on a mix of centrepieces, stunning candelabra festooned with flowers and soft foliage finished with trailing pearls, raised silver cake stands with pretty blooms, delicate three tier crystal cake stands trimmed with lace and pearls and the soft glow of votives and candles.
WINDOW SHUTTER TABLE PLAN
Mike loves comics and this fun couple chose to name their tables after characters including Spider Man and Batman for the top table. We displayed the stationery on our window shutter table plan making it easy for guests to find their seats. I loved seeing the newly married Dr and Dr McFarlane on their wedding day.
WROXALL ABBEY WEDDING FLOWERS – HANGING BOTTLES
Outside the church the ancient yew tree is the perfect place to let some light and interest into the churchyard. Soft vintage rose heads hanging in apothecary bottles look great and make the churchyard seem brighter and more welcoming.
