This winter wedding at Hampton Manor was a delight from start to finish. With so many amazing floral features. We have posted part 1 (the bouquets and deconstructed arch at Hampton in Arden church). Now we bring you Rachel and James and their stunning winter reception at Hampton Manor. The Courtyard was transformed by candlelight, flowers and foliage. Guests entered an enchanted winter wonderland for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. The room felt warm and full of love as guests and family celebrated together.
Tall Gold Stands & Candles for an Enchanted Winter Wedding at Hampton Manor
Our brief for the Courtyard was elegant, dreamy and candlelit. The Courtyard tables were filled with a mix of white candles running the full length of the tables. Relaxed foliage softened the tables whilst tall gold stands bedecked with foliage and the softest of blooms added richness and elegance to the scene. The deconstructed arch from church was moved and then rebuilt and extended to create the most amazing backdrop to the top table, our team worked tirelessly to transform this into an Enchanted Winter Wedding at Hampton Manor.
Thanks Karen
We cannot believe how the flowers both at the Church and Hampton Manor formed the most beautiful backdrop to the whole day – even in my planning dreams I couldn’t have foreseen how perfectly you and your team would deliver for us!!!
It was a dull dreary damp December day brought to life by all those who took part and supported us on that day. It was truly magical and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
Big Hugs xx
If you are planning a winter wedding at Hampton Manor we would love to create a wonderful setting for your day.
Yesterday I had a lovely day at Hampton Manor wedding fayre. Exhibiting at wedding fayres always gives us a chance to create something new and meet lovely couples excited about their upcoming weddings.
We chose to showcase our floral clouds, these are going to be BIG in 2020. If your venue has somewhere in the ceiling to suspend from we can create a hanging cloud or for centrepieces we can create a floating arrangement over a stand on the table.
What do you think?
NEUTRAL TONES – Dried flowers
So on-trend for 2020, neutral tones and dried flowers. We just love this look. Clear glass and dark bottles of dried stems along the table completed the look.
GREEN & WHITE – Foliage, blossom & roses
For a fresher look, we used fresh foliage and white blossom, roses and tulips. Again a lightweight relaxed loose arrangement floating above the gold stand. Small vases and tea light holders completed the look along the table.
If you need help with florals and styling for your Hamton Manor wedding please get in touch as we would love to help. Karen x
We always love weddings at venues new to us and the chance to create elegant wedding flowers for Jess and Andrew at Hampton Court House was just perfect. We made sure we met at the venue in the planning stages to be sure we knew the venue well when it came to setting up for the wedding.
WHITE BRIDAL BOUQUET
Jess had classic taste and knew she wanted a timeless, elegant rose bouquet. Alabaster roses with their open heads were a stunning choice with lisianthus and spray roses.
WHITE BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS
The bridesmaids wore an elegant mix of dresses and carried blousy bouquets.
CEREMONY URNS AT HAMPTON COURT HOUSE
The ceremony room was set up with large urns to frame the ceremony and windows out onto the parkland. Hydrangea,a roses, lisianthus and light touches of foliage kept the look classically elegant.
CREAM BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES FOR AN ELEGANT LOOK
Jess chose her school friends as bridesmaids who all looked dreamy in their elegant full length dresses.
URNS AND VENUE STYLING AT HAMPTON COURT HOUSE
The conservatory led into the gardens and dining room giving the guests a chance to explore the beautiful grounds. The urns framed the arch for an elegant look.
TALL CANDELABRA WEDDING CENTREPIECES AT HAMPTON COURT HOUSE
Guest tables were decorated with tall gold candlelabra with a blousy mix of white and green flowers and foliage from the day. White and green are always an elegant choice and perfect for this venue.
GOLD TABLE NUMBER FRAMES AND MENU HOLDERS
The gold in the room on the chairs, door frames and details was picked up with the table number frames and menu holders. These details will bring your wedding look together so make sure you ask your florist to coordinate the look of your table designs.
TIMELESS ELEGANT TOP TABLE FLOWERS
All eyes were on the top table for the speeches and the wedding party were greeted by a timeless elegant design for their top table.
WEDDING CAKE FLOWERS
Rosie made the most gorgeous cake, the addition of flowers from the day, gold frames and one of the bouquets made for a very pretty cake table.
VENUE STYLING DETAILS, SIGNS & PHOTOS
Jess and Andrew hung photos around the venue of family and friends and added signs for the evening.
We loved being party of Jess and Andrew’s wedding. Jess has been a friend of Gemma’s since early school days and it was wonderful to see a number of our previous wedding couples over the weekend. Thanks also to Jen who came down to help me with the wedding so that Gemma could enjoy being a bridesmaid.
‘We can’t stop looking at the photos and at how incredible the flowers looked. You all worked so hard to make it so utterly perfect for us, thank you.’
Andrew and Jess thanks for your lovely note and for the wonderful bottle of fizz. ‘Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.
The setting at Hampton Manor for the summer wedding of Sophie and Chris was a delight to decorate. Scented roses, stocks, spray roses, ranunculus and lisianthus with a mix of herbs and foliage filled the room for this elegant wedding.
TALL WEDDING CENTREPIECES – GOLD FLORAL STANDS
Tall wedding centrepieces are forever elegant and allow a clear view for guests whilst creating an amazing wow factor as you enter the room. Bringing in the gold twist with the beautiful dog table names was such a cute personal detail for Sophie and Chris.
,STUNNING ASYMMETRIC ARCH BEHIND TOP TABLE BACKDROP
The asymmetric arch behind the top table framed the newlyweds for the speeches and created the most beautiful midsummer floral backdrop for their day.
Thank you so much Sophie and Chris for your kind words and for sharing your beautiful day captured by Dominique so well.
‘I just wanted to send you a very quick note to say, that no amount of words can express how happy and grateful and generally full of joy I was (still am) at the absolutely stunning flowers you created on Saturday! I wanted to tell you that what you created was truly magical and we are forever grateful!’
And that’s what makes our wedding work so worthwhile. Wonderful clients, brilliant venues and a great team. Karen x
A stunning shoot I worked on earlier in the year in the lovely Compton Verney wedding venue, an art gallery in a Grade I Georgian mansion surrounded by stunning parklands and lake played. Compton Verney is a special wedding venue for me as my son is getting married here next summer. The Adam Hall is the jewel of the Compton Verney estate. Featuring large picture windows, marble floor, ornate pillars and high ceilings, it exudes timeless elegance.
I worked on this shoot with a number of talented local wedding suppliers, we provided an epic floral backdrop made from dried bulrushes, foliage and pampas grass using brass vases and lanterns from our sister site The Wedding of my Dreams. I also made a loose hand tied bouquet featuring hand-dyed ribbons from Little Acorn Silks, which looked delicate and simple creating a modern, minimalist look.
Last winter we were lucky enough to be involved in this stunning winter wedding at Hampton Manor. We were thrilled to see it featured recently on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings Blog too. Hannah and Adam were married late November so opted for an enchanted forest winter wedding.
Enchanted Forest Winter Ceremony Backdrop
Hannah’s large wild bouquet was predominantly foliage with touches of deep red and featured protea and trailing ribbons. Candles in glass cylinders lined the aisle and we created a backdrop to frame the couple as they said their I Do’s.
Long Guest Tables Winter Wedding Styling
Within Elizabeth’s Court we added touches of floral decor all around. We decorated the bespoke table plan and provided gold vases for the bouquets to sit in during the meal to create extra floral decorations. We laid foliage down the length of the tables with candles spread out for a romantic wintery glow.
We love decorating and styling weddings and events at Hampton Manor and enjoy keeping in touch with the look and feel of the seasons.
AUTUMN WEDDING CENTREPIECES FOR LONG TABLES – GOLD VASES & TALL GOLD STANDS
Adding gold footed urns and tall gold stands to the long tables creates an opulent look to the tables. Teaming these with flowers and foliage in warm berry tones adds a richness to the designs, small gold posy vases and candlesticks complete the look.
GLASS AND CANDLELIGHT ELEGANT WEDDING CENTREPIECES FOR LONG TABLES
Choose glass vases and a mix of glass footed vases with church candles for an elegant look to your wedding. Blush flowers give a lightness to the look and foliage could be added to entwine through the designs.
TOP TABLE – SUSPENDED DESIGN OVER GOLD FLORAL STANDS
GOLD FLORAL STANDS WITH LARGE FOLIAGE ARRANGEMENTS AND BRASS LANTERNS ALONG THE LONG TABLES
Foliage is very much a firm favourite for long tables and these elevated designs on gold stands create a wow factor look to the tables. Here we set brass lanterns with church candles to add interest to the table and echo the shape of the stands.

TIMELESS ELEGANT WEDDING AT SHUSTOKE FARM BARNS – WHITE & GREEN BRIDAL PARTY BOUQUETS
White and green is forever elegant and always stunning for bridal party bouquets. The hand-tied bridal bouquet with a natural mix of roses, foliage and a mix of textured flowers including veronica with the stems bound in ivory ribbon created an elegant look to suit Laura’s dress. The young flower girl carried a whimsical posy of spray roses and the bridesmaids an elegant mix of green foliage and roses.
For the wedding ceremony Laura and Simon knew they wanted a natural look with a garland of foliage and flowers from their day, elegant cylinder vases with candles and definitely some over-sized hanging rings to bring the barn to life.
BRONZE, GOLD, GLASS & GREEN CENTREPIECES & VENUE STYLING
The eucalyptus theme continued into the beautiful signs and stationery Laura had designed. The overall look for the day was an elegant bronze, gold and green scheme with lots of detail and candlelight. We love working with our couples in the styling of the day and offering them the wedding look they love.
EUCALYPTUS FOLIAGE PLACE SETTINGS
A sprig of scented eucalyptus added to the place setting is an elegant and thoughtful touch for each guest.
BRASS FRAMES TO CREATE WEDDING SIGNAGE & TABLE NAMES
Laura chose brass frames from our collection of props to which we added her table names. It is all in the detail and this wedding was simple, elegant and with everything styled together.
WEDDING CAKE FLOWERS TO NAKED WEDDING CAKE
Spray roses and snippets of eucalyptus were added to the cake from Butter Cream and Dreams.
Thank you Laura and Simon for sharing your wedding photos and your kind words
“Just wanted to say a massive thank you for doing the flowers for our wedding. It was PERFECT and you’ve been super helpful from start to finish!
We had the best day ever and everyone commented on how beautiful the venue looked so honestly thank you so much! “
That is why we love what we do to here at Passion for Flowers.
Sacha and Stu planned a relaxing day for family and friends at Blackwell Grange. The bride wore an elegant gown with her maids in charcoal grey and vintage rose dresses. Stu looked splendid in this kilt and we introduced thistles into the bouquets and button holes as a nod to the tartan.
BLOOMS
The bouquets were loose foliage inspired bouquets with thistle, lisianthus, roses, veronica and wax flower for different textures and tones.
BUTTON HOLES
The button holes were a relaxed mix of blooms from the day with twine to finish.
ENTRANCE GATE FLOWERS – BLACKWELL GRANGE
Touches of eucalyptus were tied to the entrance gates to continue the relaxed, laid back look.
The Thatch Barn at Blackwell Grange is a great place to tie the knot with its stone walls and wooden beams. The Barn suits very natural flowers and foliage and we designed relaxed arrangements in tall bronze vases to frame the ceremony and foliage garlands to drape the table.
EXTRA LARGE MILK CHURN ENTRANCE FLOWERS
Keeping to a very natural relaxed look large arrangements greeted guests at the entrance set in rustic milk churns.
CENTREPIECES – BLACKWELL GRANGE
The tables were dressed with a mix of centrepieces with natural foliage and flowers in bronze gold containers.
We loved creating the flowers for Sacha and Stu and being part of their wedding day.
Looking for tall wedding centrepice ideas for your Hampton Manor wedding? Hampton Manor suits tall centrepieces. At the spring wedding fair we showed our two newest floral stands both of which would be perfect for Hampton Manor, depending on your style. This rustic branch stands would also suit barn wedding venues, or could be used as floor standing arrangements to frame your ceremony in The Birches and later used on the tables.
TALL GOLD STANDS
Tall gold stands are great for adding height and a WOW factor to a room. Here a lush arrangement with trailing foliage and a mix of scented roses, ranunculus, tuberose and tulips filled the room with scent and romance. The stands can be set out along tables or to form a top table arrangement. Smaller vases and candlesticks along the table finish the look.
TALL RUSTIC CENTREPICES – BRANCH STANDS
Tall bronze branch stands add an element of drama to the room, they suit relaxed mixed foliage displays with highlights of seasonal blooms. Here we added a mix of beautiful English tulips perfect for a spring wedding. These stands can be used floor standing at the entrance to a room, either side of the aisle or ceremony and later for the dinner.
Extra details are always appreciated a single stem to the chair and place setting is a lovely touch.
We always love a collaboration and when asked by Country Wedding Venues if we would like to work with The Rustic Wedding Company in styling Mythe Barn we jumped at the chance. We love a rustic wedding as do so many of our wedding couples.
NATURAL ORGANIC CEREMONY AT MYTHE BARN – BIRCH ARCH
Natural organic style wedding flowers are key to creating a relaxed look to a rustic wedding. Starting with our birch arch we added a mix of foliage, we usually use a mix of at least 3 different types of foliage, with a mix of roses, helebores and lisianthus to lighten the look.
Our tree stumps and lanterns tied the look together with a mix of candlesticks. Aisle chairs were finished off with a bunch of eucalyptus to complete the look. The wooden ceremony table has a soft runner, an array of gold candlesticks and a mass of foliage garland with highlights of natural flowers.
ROUND GUEST TABLES: GOLD AND GREEN CENTREPIECES
The guest tables centrepieces continued the gold and green scheme with gold hurricane vases with a candle framed by a ring of foliage and flowers. Flowers here included anenomes, helebores and roses.
BACKDROP BEHIND TOP TABLE
If you are having a backdrop behind the top table make sure it continues the feel of your wedding day, for a rustic wedding add large amounts of foliage for a natural organic look.
LONG TOP TABLE: GOLD AND GREEN WEDDING STYLING
All eyes are on the top table and it should be a feast for the senses, this will be the focal point for the duration of the speeches so you’ll want it to look as pretty as can be. The richness of the gold together with the organic green foliage and soft, delicate blooms caught the magic of the day. I just love the whimsical astilbe in the gold vases and the softest anemones in the lower vases. Each place setting had a snippet of foliage and gold cut out name as a place card / favour.

Every mother dreams of her daughter’s wedding and so when Gemma and Richard announced their engagement and plans for a dreamy destination wedding in Tuscany I was beyond excited. Being a mother and daughter florist team we live and breathe weddings and Gemma’s was no exception.
From the start we wanted Gemma’s wedding to be a relaxed day with family and friends and we are so thankful to everyone that played a part in her wedding. Planning a wedding even we you are in the wedding industry is no easy task but there is nothing we would change, all the effort was worth it.
As you can imagine there were lots of photos and we wanted to share them all with you. We have split the wedding up into sections, scroll down to see everything. The smaller images can be clicked on if you want to pin them or make them full size.
WEDDING PREPARATIONS – LOCANDA IN TUSCANY
Months of planning gave way to the excitement of arriving at our beautiful location in Tuscany to start creating the wedding we had all been dreaming of. All of our vases, signage, dressing, runners and details were sent out from our company The Wedding of My Dreams by van to arrive at our venue to await us.
Wedding preparations continued with the arrival of the flowers and foliage from our friends at Florismart as well as a few local grown specials from Puscina Flowers. We had invited Lois one of our florists to travel out to Tuscany and work with us to create all this beauty. We have a large family and many able helpers so we enlisted their help in dressing the venue. No task went unchecked as Gemma had planned all the details so brilliantly that we had an amazing work schedule to keep us on track. Whilst Gemma, Lois and I concentrated on the larger arrangements we knew the dressing of the gazebo, foliage hoops, hanging of lanterns, setting out of signs and filling of vases for the centrepieces was happening all around us.

BRIDAL PARTY GETTING READY, LOCANDA IN TUSCANY
The venue had plenty of space for Richard and the boys to get ready in the rooms surrounding the pool whilst Gemma and the girls enjoyed the coolness of the main house for their preparations.
We chose to take out our wedding industry friends with us including Make up by Jodie who did an amazing job keeping us relaxed whilst ensuring we were ready in good time.
Gemma’s dress and her bridesmaids gowns were chosen from Coco and Kate and she just loved the Anna Campbell, Adelaide dress she wore. I managed to find a beautiful Gina Baconi outfit to complement her look. The boys looked relaxed in their white shirts and chinos with Richard wearing a well cut grey jacket. Of course Olivia was the main star of the day with her white and silver dress and good nature.

OUTDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY, BAGNO VIGNONI, TUSCANY
Gemma and Richard chose the romantic setting of the Loggiato in Bagno Vignoni for their outdoor wedding ceremony. The backdrop was so beautiful with the old buildings and thermal pool. We dressed the wooden chairs with flowing runners which blew in the breeze and added large urns with natural organic designed florals and foliage. We even found an antique wooden crib for Olivia and added a flower garland to entice her in. Foliage hoops set the scene and were continued at Locanda as a way of linking our venues.
The garland for the car was a joy to create and I was so thrilled to see Gemma be driven to the ceremony by her father Richard and return after the ceremony with her husband Richard to be welcomed by family and friends.

BRIDE AND GROOM PORTRAIT PHOTOS TUSCANY
Anna and Simon Clarke were unrelenting on the day capturing every important moment and lots of beautiful shots of the Tuscan backdrop chosen for Gemma and Richard’s dream wedding. We are eternally grateful for the beauty they created and the amazing film Simon has put together. We had a family viewing of this on Christmas Day and it was such a joy to see.

WEDDING DRINKS RECEPTION, LOCANDA IN TUSCANY
After transporting our guests to our hillside location, a relaxed atmosphere was the order of the day. Food stations were set out offering the very best in Tuscan fare whilst everyone enjoyed cocktails and welcome drinks.
Shade was important for some of the guests and so gazebos and decorated pergolas provided plenty of spaces to chat and relax. Garden games were set out for those who wanted and we loved creating our family tree.

WEDDING GUEST TABLES, ALFRESCO WEDDING LONG WOODEN TABLES
Gemma and Richard knew they wanted the evening meal to be on long tables, under lights surrounded by family and friends. We chose our caterers with the help of our planner Francesca and agreed on the rustic style tables and chairs with long runners. The flowers in a mix of antique gold bottles vases, glass bottles with gold rims with hundreds of bronze tea lights and lanterns created a magical look. As the light faded the candles were lit and the table lanterns enhanced the setting.

EXTRA DETAILS, WEDDING CAKE, BAR, POOL DECORATIONS & DANCE FLOOR
Gemma and Richard decorated their own cake under the direction of the chefs. The loggia backdrop with its fireplace and informal seating was a wonderful place to decorate and relax in late in the evening. Lanterns laid out around the pool added to the magic and romance of the evening, organic arrangements in small urns were placed on the American bar, lanterns and fairy lights lit the dance floor under the pergola so the party could continue well into the early hours.

I can truly say this was the happiest day of our lives and when we had our last glass or two of wine when all the guests had left we all agreed we would not have done it any other way. I am so happy for Gemma Richard and Olivia as they enjoy their married life as the 3 Kings.
Creating flowers at Hampton Manor for weddings is always a treat, the warm wood, stone arches in this arts and craft house need the right floral touches to bring them to life. If your budget permits staircase flowers are a wow factor statement. The bride and her bridesmaids will walk down these stairs before heading to their ceremony, walking through an avenue of flowers is the perfect way to start your day, and imagine the photos your photographer will get!
These staircase flowers will be a focal point during your drinks reception creating a warm welcome for your guests and setting the tone for the rest of your day before they head through to Elizabeth’s Court. Here at Passion for Flowers we always jump at the chance to decorate the staircase for a wedding. Foliage, seasonal blooms and dashes of candlelight show you what can be done. This is for an autumn wedding but the look can be adapted depending on the season you have chosen to tie the knot.
If you are planning your wedding at Hampton Manor then do get in touch, we work here regularly and it is a pleasure to be one of Hampton Manors preferred suppliers, would love to help you with your flowers and styling.
When we received an invitation to travel down to the elegant Coombe Lodge to create wedding flowers we were happy to say yes. A new venue to us is always a great opportunity for a site visit to check out the place to see what will work with the couples chosen venue. We just loved creating flowers and styling for Noreen and Tom on this magical day with their family and friends.
BOUQUETS AT COOMBE LODGE – PEACH, BLUSH PINK AND CREAM
The bouquets were a mix of peach, blush pink and cream blooms for an elegant summer look.
OUTDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY AT COOMBE LODGE
The gardens at Coombe Lodge make a perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony. Delicate confetti petals were handed out to the guests for the confetti moment.
LARGE METALLIC URNS AND FLOWERS DOWN THE AISLE
The dramatic setting for the ceremony suited large metallic urns overflowing with lush florals and flowers set out to frame the aisle.
CENTREPIECES AT COOMBE LODGE – GOLD CANDELABRA
Coombe Lodge has a warm feel to the place and the gold candelabra used for the centrepieaces echoed the decor in the light fittings and around the room.
The image of the Noreen and her girls so beautifully captured in front of the stunning rhododendrons is just gorgeous. Mother Nature was certainly at work at Coombe Lodge. Congratulations again to Noreen and Tom x
Louise and Rob were married at Curradine Barns earlier in the year. We blogged their wedding previously but Louise just sent us this photo over and we had to share. Sparkler send off while wearing a flower crown, we just love it!
