Lisa and Aneel had a 2 day wedding celebration starting with a church service in the church at Mappleborough Green followed by a reception at Gorcott Hall. On day 2 they continued with a ceremony at the Hyatt Hotel followed by a reception. The guests and families enjoyed 2 amazing days and we are delighted to share some images of the first day with you.
BUTTON HOLES FOR THE GROOMSMEN
The groomsmen wore elegant rose button holes for the church.
LOOSE, ELEGANT PEACH AND GREY BRIDAL BOUQUET
The bridal bouquet was the softest mix of flowers and foliage in peach, soft pink and grey. Heavenly Juliet and Keira roses combined with the delicate scabious, hypericum berries, dusty miller and scented jasmine created a dreamy look for the bridal bouquet.
ELEGANT BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS
The girls looked so elegant with their rose and dusty miller bouquets outside Gorcott Hall.
VENUE DECORATIONS – ENTRANCE WREATH FOR FRONT DOOR
The old wooden door to Gorcott Hall was just the place to hang a bespoke flower filled heart wreath.
ROMANTIC, ELEGANT WEDDING CENTREPIECES FOR LONG TABLES
Lisa and Aneel had their hearts set on a long table and found a great way of incorporating these into the room layout. Delicate candlesticks, votives and a mix of elegant footed vases and vessels were set our along the long table filled with scented florals to create their romantic reception.
ROMANTIC, ELEGANT WEDDING CAKE FLOWERS
The softest Keira roses were the icing on the cake for the wedding and set off the ombre icing beautifully.
Thank you Lisa and Aneel for sharing your photos and for your lovely words ‘The flowers were exactly what I had envisaged – soft, romantic and elegant.’
I was delighted to be chosen as the florist for Victoria and Ben’s mid-summer wedding at our local church in Hampton in Arden followed by a reception at the elegant Hampton Manor. Victoria’s background in interior design meant she had clear views about the look for her wedding and we helped her create a wonderul day filled with an abundance of natural looking flowers in creams, soft blush and peach. She came well prepared to our consultation with plenty of images and her pretty Save The Date as inspiration.
PEACH AND CREAM WEDDING FLOWERS – THE BOUQUETS
The hand tied bouquets were a soft mixture of peach, cream and blush with highlights of grey eucalyptus. The bouquets were presented in elegant glass vases as a gift for the bridesmaids. I just love the trailing ribbons and this image of the bouquets caught as the girls were getting ready at Hampton Manor.
WEDDING CEREMONY AT HAMPTON IN ARDEN CHURCH
Hampton in Arden Church is a village church with a gate leading back into the grounds of Hampton Manor. The lichgate is the perfect place for photographs and is perfectly set off with an asymetrical garland of flowers.
AISLE DECORATIONS – LANTERNS & PEW ENDS
Pew ends of blousy hydrangeas and elegant silver lanterns framed the aisle. I just love the images captured in church, the page boy and flower girl look adorable and the cathedral veil is so soft and dreamy. Duncan always has his congregation in his hands and is such a wonderful vicar, our couples tell us he holds his get togethers with them in the local pub.
TABLE CENTREPIECES IN ELIZABETH’S COURT – CANDELABRA & FOOTED BOWLS
The elegant setting of Elizabeth’s Court at Hampton Manor was beautifully set out with a mix of high and low centrepieces. The tall silver candelabra had posy vases, candelsticks and large votives in mercury silver set out around the base to create a timesless look to the tables. The silver footed bowls also had a lush arrangement with posy vases filled with scented roses, elegant candlesticks and votives to surround. Victoria had created some lovely personal touches with shots as the favours, fun gifts for the children and so much attention to detail.
TOP TABLE FLOWERS
This elegant top table is one of our favourites with tall candelabra with free form flowers to frame the table and a lush centrepiece with trailing ivy along the table,a mix of mercury silver posy vases, elegant candlesticks set out along the table.
MIRROR TABLE PLAN
The mirror table plan continued the elegant look for the wedding.
WEDDING CAKE FLOWERS
The flowers really are the icing on the cake and we were thrilled to decorate this wedding cake with an abundant mix of roses and hydrangea.
With love and very many congratulations to Victoria and Ben, thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous photos with us. xx
Another wedding from our blog archives today. These coral wedding flowers are some of our most popular images on pinterest, you really love the coral peonies and roses used in the bridal bouquets and country jugs. So we thought we’d share it again so our newer couples have a chance to see it. Scroll down to see more from this wedding at Moxhull Hall.
CORAL WEDDING FLOWERS AT MOXHULL HALL
At Passion for Flowers we love a bit of colour and one of our summer favourites was the gorgeous wedding captured by Jo Hastings Photography. We loved creating coral wedding flowers at Moxhull Hall. Our bride Emma was looking for a country garden vintage inspired wedding perfect for her church wedding and reception at Moxhull Hall. I just love the romantic photos captured here of Emma and Johnny in the gardens.
CORAL BRIDAL BOUQUET ~ CORAL PEONIES & ROSES
Emma’s coral bridal bouquet was a soft mixed bouquet with wonderfully open Coral charm peonies, roses, snippets of hydrangea, dahlia, veronica and dahlias for texture. The bridesmaids held smaller bouquets with a similar mix of blooms just perfect for such a bright sunshiny day.
CORAL ROSE BUTTON HOLES
The button holes tied in to the coral country garden wedding with coral ‘Miss Piggy’ roses with the groom’s having an added touch of pittosporum and spray rose.
CORAL WEDDING FLOWERS ~ JUGS ON VINTAGE BOOKS
Emma and her Mum had worked on lots of extra details for their vintage inspired country garden wedding and we incorporated one of their travel table names into each arrangement. The tables looked relaxed and inviting with a large vintage jug overflowing with a country garden mix of coral peonies, roses, hydrangeas. Make sure you add some greenery into country garden flowers to make them more relaxed and in keeping with the time of year, I find it refreshing in the heat of the summer and it adds depth to the arrangement and the photos. Each table had vintage books to give extra height and small crystal vases or jugs with extra blooms. The bridal party bouquets were also displayed in jugs to be enjoyed throughout the reception.
Emma knew that flowers were an important part of her wedding day and we spent time together going through the alternative looks and flowers available to ensure she was delighted with the final result on her wedding day.
Another re-post from our blog archives. This wedding was a beautiful summer wedding at Iscoyd Park. We had an abundance of peach wedding flowers, with additional touches of vibrant green and yellow daisies. Fab inspiration for a summer wedding.
ISCOYD PARK WEDDING FLOWERS
We first met Nicola at The National Wedding Show and were really excited to create Iscoyd Park Wedding Flowers. At Passion for Flowers we love working with our couples and creating flowers at their venues and Iscoyd Park and St Mary’s Church were certainly highlights this summer.
BRIDAL BOUQUET ~ JUST PICKED DAISIES AND PEACH ROSES
Nicola’s dress was a stunning lace dress and we created a gorgeous hand picked bouquet with a mix of David Austin roses in peach, cream and soft pink combined with just picked daisies, veronica and other summer blooms.
COUNTRY CHURCH WEDDING FLOWERS
St Mary’s is the most beautiful country church in England, we fell in love with it when we visited it with Nicola and Mark earlier in the year. The setting is so wonderful at the end of the lane, within minutes of Iscoyd Park.
The church just needs country church wedding flowers to make it come to life, rustic crates at the entrance brimming with summer blooms. Inside the little church Mark and Nicola knew the church would be packed so we concentrated on the central aisle with just picked pew ends and country church wedding flowers hanging from poles. All the rest of the colour came from Nicola and her gorgeous bridesmaids and cute flower girls. We were thrilled when the Church Warden commented they were the best church flowers she had seen!
BUTTON HOLES TIED WITH TWINE
Mark wanted a mix of hand tied button holes tied with twine – just perfect for this country church wedding. Don’t you just love the invitation with Mark and Nicola on their tandem outside the church?
BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS ~ JUST PICKED DAISIES AND DAVID AUSTIN ROSES
The bridesmaids dresses were one of the first things Nicola had told me about. The buttercup yellow dresses would set the colour palette for the day. We complemented these with hand tied bouquets with just picked daisies ad David Austin roses in cream. soft pink and peach. The wedding car Nicola and Mark had found was also called ‘Buttercup’ which really brought a smile to my face.
ISCOYD PARK WEDDING FLOWERS ~ HANGING BOTTLES FROM TREES
The gardens at Iscoyd Park are simply stunning. One of the delights of creating Iscoyd Park Wedding Flowers was the opportunity to visit with Mark and Nicola, something at Passion for Flowers we always do for new venues to us. We found the perfect tree for hanging bottles and love the photos with the cricket game taking place. The garden at Iscoyd Park was brimming with roses and other blooms perfect as a backdrop to Nicola and Mark on their wedding day.
ISCOYD PARK WEDDING FLOWERS ~ RUSTIC WOODEN CRATES
The rustic wooden crates from church added colour and life into the marquee. Mark and Nicola wanted to ensure the marquee was not bland and so we all worked together to create a warm inviting look and feel in the marquee. Hessian chair backs with bunches of hand picked flowers decorated the chairs, the lovely table names added even more colour as well as the hand crafted cutlery wraps and favour jars.
ISCOYD PARK WEDDING FLOWERS ~ CRYSTAL GLASS VASES AND HESSIAN TABLE RUNNERS
We decorated the tables with a mix of crystal glass vases in very shape and size, stacks of crystal plates festooned with flowers and mirror cake stands with small crystal jugs and vases, tea lights and hessian runners. In the marquee we intensified the colours of the flowers by adding warmer yellow and more touches of peach. Pew ends were added around the marquee and on windowsills in the house.
WORLD MAP WEDDING TABLE PLAN
Nicola and Mark created a great table plan with one of our World Maps beautifully crafted with their stationery.
