Winter styling is so much fun and we always love being asked to create beauty with Charlotte O’Shea and the team at Rock My Style. The opportunity to work with the Joules brand was so lovely as their clothing is one of our favourites. In fact I usually wear a pair of their boots in the workroom.

These images capture the beauty that was made, Charlotte has a good eye for detail and knows what she loves. Pheasant feathers being one of her favourite things, Mabel was the most perfect model and I have fallen in love with these images captured from the day.

A country house needs a country styled wreath on the door and this one with hydrangea, eucalyptus, alliums and the signature pheasant feathers was a pleasure to make.

HOW TO MAKE A CHRISTMAS STAIRCASE GARLAND

A Christmas garland is a great welcome to any home. Charlotte was keen to learn and we found a colour combination which she loved. Warm dusky pink hydrangea, softest astrantia, alliums and masses of foliage to create a lush, relaxed garland.

For the base an oasis netted garland lightly soaked in water.
Add foliage throughout the design for a natural look, we used 3 types of eucalyptus.
Add key blooms we used hydrangea heads, alliums and astrantia.
Then add extra flourishes of decoration to suit your style Charlotte loved the addition of the pheasant feathers for a country look.
Finally hang your garland in pride of place on your staircase with cable ties and check how everything looks.

Katie and Adam tied the knot at Hampton Manor and we worked our magic to create their dream wedding with dusky pink roses, trailing ivy and blackboard welcome signs.

As guests arrive at your wedding venue make them feel really at home with a welcome display giving an insight into your wedding day look and feel. The beautiful entrance at Hampton manor suits relaxed styling with warm lanterns, and natural flowers and ivy foliage.

WEDDING BOUQUETS

Delivering the wedding bouquets on the wedding morning is always an emotional time and we loved the excitement when a bride first sees the bridal party flowers. The choice of wedding bouquet is one of the key decisions for any wedding as the bouquet is one of the most photographed pieces of the day.

STUNNING WEDDING CAKE

The icing on the cake for any wedding is a cake from Ben the Cakeman. This semi naked cake design is just so stunning. We love to meet Ben on the morning of the wedding with fresh flowers which he then works his magic on to create an amaziing look which always surpasses our expectations. His attention to detail is beyond comparison and this wedding cake was a real beauty.

Hanging Flower Ceiling over Marquee Dancefloor

Looking for a statement piece to hang over your dance floor in your marquee? Last summer we created this large hanging structure over one of our weddings using Fews Marquees. Guests danced the night away under a ceiling of white delphiniums. The structure was a whopping 3m x 3m square over the black and white chequered dance floor.

Our birch arch makes a stunning backdrop for a wedding ceremony. The ceremony barn at Hampton Manor is the perfect setting. We created this autumnal setting at Hampton Manor using large tree stumps down the aisle with candle in clear glass cylinder vases making a lovely setting for the entrance of the bride.

The focal point is of course the birch arch which we draped with sheer white material and organic style florals to each corner, we used lush foliage, dark red hydrangeas, nude roses and larger statement blooms for a textured autumnal look.

Romantic Wedding Flowers at Priory Farm

Imogen and Andrew married in the village church close to her family home. We met in the early stages of her wedding planning and enjoyed helping Imogen with plans for her day. She wanted a romantic reception set in the grounds of Priory Farm. Imogen runs Capital Cooking in London a well respected catering company and it was a delight to work with her and the team on her wedding.

BRIDAL PARTY – BOUQUETS, BUTTON HOLES AND FLOWER CROWNS

The young memebers of the bridal party sported cute button holes and flower crowns and the bouquets included a mix of scented roses hand tied with silk ribbons.

BRADLEY CHURCH – STATEMENT URNS

The village church was a delight to decorate with romantic flowers, scented roses, stocks adorned the windowsils with candlelight adding a soft glow. Large stone urns framed the ceremony, with tall delphiniums added for height.

MARQUE CENTREPIECES IN GLASS VASES

Inside the marquee we continued the romantic look with a mix of high and low centrepeice designs with lush flowers from the day. Scented roses, lisianthus, stocks and hydrangea with touches of lavender in the smaller vases.

DRINKS STATION AND WEDDING CAKE

The drinks station was set out around the lake with refreshing drinks on a hot summer’s day. The cake was made to Imogen’s design by her cake maker and we added blooms for complete the romantic look.

Creating flowers at Hampton Manor for weddings is always a treat, the warm wood, stone arches in this arts and craft house need the right floral touches to bring them to life. An Elegant Barn Wedding at Shustoke Farm Barns

Emma and Ben enjoyed a wonderful wedding at Shustoke Farm Barns, the perfect setting for a summer wedding.

Thank you so much to you, Gemma and your team for the most beautiful flowers and styling for our wedding and the most excellent service. The flower globe is currently a very extravagant hanging basket at my parents’ house in Kenilworth.

Everything was absolutely just as we wanted and the flowers and styling were even better than I could have imagined.

Snippets of lavender a favourite of the brides were added to her elegant blush pink and white bridal bouquet, captured on the morning of the wedding.

The scented lavender with blush pink roses picked up the hues of the lilac dresses and toned beautifully with Emmas stunning Jenny Packman dress.

Silver was introduced into the styling at Shustoke Farm Barns to create elegant ceremony decorations with large silver punch bowls with generous arrangements of flowers from the day.

Gorgeous Summer Wedding At Shustoke Farm Barns (Video)

Heather and Stewart were married earlier this year at Shustoke Farm Barns. Once you see their heartfelt video by Blue Ridge Weddings I think you’ll agree with me this was such a dreamy wedding and we loved being a part of it and creating the florals.

Heather had a stunning organic bouquet of garden roses, dusky pink roses, lavender,hydrangeas and eucalyptus.

Button holes were dusky pink roses, thistle and eucalyptus.

We created hanging rings from the beams which are a must have at Shustoke. Hanging flowers will frame the aisle and are captured in all the photos, they are enjoyed for the wedding breakfast and right up until the final farewells.

Here at Passion for Flowers we were delighted to hear that we had been selected for the judging panel in the florist category for The National Wedding Awards 2018. After a couple of years winning The Best Wedding Florist in The West Midlands and winning Best Wedding Florist in the country in 2015 we know how tough the competition is for these awards and it is a privilege to have been chosen to sit on the judging panel in 2018.
