We are delighted to feature one of our most romatic summer weddings. We love Shustoke Farm Barn weddings and were thrilled to meet up with Natalie and her mum earlier in the year to discuss flowers for Natalie and Tom’s late September wedding. When Natalie mentioned she had chosen the amazing Ross Harvey as her photographer we knew the wedding would be beautifully captured.
One of the delights after an early start creating bridal party flowers is delivering them on the day and sharing the excitment as the bride is preparing for her day. The sheer joy and excitment when we presented Natalie with her flowers and finally saw her wonderful dress is a great memory for us all.
The bridal bouquet was a mix of nude pink roses Quicksand, Sweet Avalanche and Bombastic with snippets of texture, the bridesmads carried bouquets with a mix of hydrangea, Quicksand roses and snippets of pittosporum and the bouquets perfectly set off their blush dresses.
The boys looked elegant in their navy suits and nude pink buttonholes of Quicksand rose with a snippet of pittosporum. We love the tradition of the groom selecting a flower from his brides bouquet.
CREAM JUGS FOR BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS
On a hot summers day it is good to have jugs ready for the bridesmaids bouquets to be placed in after the photos. They make a lovely gift for the girls to keep after the wedding day.
SHUSTOKE FARM BARNS WEDDING – CREAM JUGS, CREAM CANDELABRA & GIANT LIGHT UP LOVE LETTERS
The rustic charm of Shustoke Farm Barns is best suited to seasonal flowers, tealights and simple decorations leaving the framework of wood, metal, exposed brickwork and natural light to do the rest. Cream jugs with a blousy arrangement of blooms sat on the tables with the addition of a cream candelabra on the top tabe. For that wow factor just add giant Light Up LOVE letters and a stunning bride and groom.
Jenny and Matt tied the knot at Packington Moor where we love creating beautiful flowers for our Passion for Flowers couples.
PACKINGTON MOOR WEDDING
Summer weddings and bunting go hand in hand, particularly at the lovely Packington Moor, the gorgeous courtyard was decorated with bunting and personalised wedding signs to create a warm welcome to the wedding guests.
RUSTIC BRIDAL BOUQUET – CREAM HYDRANGEAS AND DUSKY PINK ROSES
Jenny asked us to create a romantic rustic bridal bouquet with hydrangeas, dusky pink roses, nigella and lisianthus finished with a gorgeous locket.
DUSKY PINK ROSE BUTTONHOLES
The dusky pink buttonholes had a touch of nigella added to the dusky pink rose.
BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS IN CREAM JUGS
We delivered the bouquets in lovely cream jugs hand tied with raffia and the names of the bridesmaids.
PACKINGTON MOOR WEDDING CEREMONY – ARCH
The rustic barn at Packington Moor is a wonderful place for a wedding ceremony and the arch creates a great focal point. We added a rustic mix of eucalyptus, dreamy gypsophila and blousy hydrangeas, soft roses with lisianthus.
ROSES AND HYDRANGEAS IN RUSTIC WOODEN CRATES AT PACKINGTON MOOR
We always recommend that wedding flowers and decorations tie in with the setting of the venue so rustic wooden crates are just perfect for Packington Moor. We filled the rustic wooden crates with roses and hydrangeas.
PACKINGTON MOOR WEDDING RECEPTION – BUNTING, TREE SLICES & HESSIAN
The wedding reception was decorated with more bunting and the tables decorated with hessian and tree slices. Just Married bunting was strung along the top table with bark vases filled with flowers. The stationery was created by a dear wedding industry friend of ours Lucy Ledger and just fitted perfectly with the flowers and decoration and the cake by another of our wedding industry friends the talented Tracy of Cotton and Crumbs. We always love it when we work with other creative talents to bring a wedding day to life.
